Clear responsibilities for a useful programme.
Pre-launch legal checkpoint: these operational terms must be reviewed and completed with the contracting entity’s legal name, address, company details and final liability wording before live Stripe payments are enabled.
Last updated: 21 July 2026. These terms apply to Single Client Project, Practitioner, Studio and Organisation Platform purchases made through the KW BrandOS website. Consultant-guided and Fully Managed work is governed by a separate proposal and contract.
1. The service
KW BrandOS provides a structured online workspace for brand strategy, including guided modules, participation, evidence, decision records, implementation planning and an AI-assisted consultant. The customer remains responsible for business decisions and for reviewing all outputs before use.
2. Account and authority
The person creating the workspace confirms that they are authorised to purchase for the named practice, studio or organisation. They must keep credentials secure, provide accurate information and promptly remove access for people who should no longer participate.
3. Plans, payment, renewal and annual bonuses
A Single Client Project is a one-off £199 payment for six months of access to one active client project and does not renew automatically. Practitioner is £59 monthly or £590 annually and includes up to three active projects. Studio is £129 monthly or £1,290 annually and includes up to ten active projects. Organisation Platform is £389 monthly or £3,890 annually, plus a one-off £2,500 BrandOS Activation on the first purchase. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew until cancelled before the next renewal date. Payments already made are not refundable for access already provided, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
A new Practitioner, Studio or Organisation subscription paid annually upfront includes access to the five-session Naming Strategy Module for the active annual term and one complimentary copy of The Strategist’s Leap for the account owner. The book is a one-time initial-signup bonus, not a new copy on every renewal; KrisWood will contact the account owner after confirmed payment to arrange delivery. The annual bonuses are not included with monthly subscriptions or the Single Client Project. There is no cash alternative. If an annual subscription later moves to monthly billing, Naming Strategy Module access ends with the paid annual term.
4. Active projects and capacity
Only projects that remain editable and use live collaboration or AI features count towards the active-project allowance. Completed projects may be archived so their records and authorised exports can be retained without occupying an active slot. Restoring an archived project requires available capacity. Participant and practitioner limits are those shown for the selected plan at purchase.
5. What is not included
Unless explicitly agreed, online plans do not include professional naming consultancy, legal or trade mark clearance, copywriting, identity design, website delivery, a full research study, travel, venue costs or implementation production. The annual Naming Strategy Module is a self-run process with preliminary screening guidance; it is not legal advice and does not replace a qualified trade mark search. Product support is not a substitute for consulting time.
6. Customer responsibilities
The customer supplies a credible sponsor, a final decision-maker, appropriate participants, timely evidence and lawful instructions. The customer is responsible for securing internal permissions and for determining whether confidential or personal information may be uploaded.
7. AI-assisted features
AI output is a draft and may be incomplete or inaccurate. It cannot approve strategy or take binding action. Evidence indexing and the use of private pre-work in AI synthesis require separate project and file-level choices; purchasing a plan is not consent to external AI processing.
8. Confidentiality and data
Each party will protect confidential information using reasonable care. The privacy notice explains personal-data handling. The customer must not upload unlawful material, malware, third-party confidential information without authority or content that infringes another person’s rights.
9. Intellectual property and client work
The customer and its client retain ownership of the source material they are authorised to provide. Subject to payment, the customer may use project outputs created from that material in its own business and in the delivery of legitimate strategy or design services to the named client. KrisWood retains ownership of the BrandOS platform, methodology, templates, generic know-how and pre-existing materials.
10. Practice branding and acceptable use
Practitioner and Studio customers may add their practice name, logo and accent colour to client-facing reports and downloads. The customer confirms that it has the right to use any uploaded branding. A discreet “Created with KW BrandOS” credit remains on generated packs. The customer may charge clients for its own professional services and outputs, but must not resell, sublicense or present access to the BrandOS platform itself as its own software. The service must not be reverse engineered, used to probe security, overloaded through automated requests or used to produce unlawful, deceptive or harmful material.
11. Availability and changes
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the private-beta service available, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Security, reliability and legal requirements may require changes. Material changes affecting a paid term will be communicated where practical.
12. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended for non-payment, security risk, unlawful use or material breach. On termination, the customer should export authorised project data during any stated access period. Retention and deletion then follow the privacy notice and applicable agreement.
13. Fees and payment
Prices are stated in pounds sterling. Stripe processes online payment. The customer remains responsible for bank charges and accurate billing details.
14. Liability and legal details
The final production terms must state the contracting entity, governing law, dispute process, warranty exclusions and appropriate liability limits. These details have intentionally not been invented in this pre-launch draft.
15. Contact
